We arrived in Halifax at 6 in the morning in the fog. (Don't ever, ever take Maine Route 9 to save a few miles...) We had accomodations in a dorm at Dalhousie University at very reasonable rates. After a few hours rest, we we're ready to see what Halifax has to see.
The fog persisted all day. We were pleasantly suprised to see that the flotilla of tall ships bound for Louisbourg was tied up at the dock in Halifax.
Several of our members spent the first evening in Halifax abourd some of the ships at the docks.
Preparing for an evening on the town in our dorm rooms at Dalhousie University.
