1994 National
Fife & Drum Muster

Regularly an east corps corps offers to host a national gathering of fifers and drummers called a muster.  In 1994, The Hanafor Volunteer Fife & Drum Crops of Waterbury, Vermot hosted the event.  With over 50 fife and drum corps participating, national musters are sites of extraordinary cameraderie and music.

Tippecanoe was honored to be one of the featured corps
at the Friday evening tattoo.

The evening tattoo of a muster is reserved for corps who are recognized to contribute to fifing and drumming's presentation or are otherwise deserving of special recognition.

Typically, the muster begins with a parade followed by individual corps performances.  There is NO COMPETITION!  Fifing and drumming is about music, and cameraderie and has no room for competitive pressures and hostility.
